Swishly Inc ("Swishly", "we", "us") operates iWebTV, iWebTV Player, related TV receiver apps, and related websites and services. We refer to them together as the "Services."
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at support@swishly.com.
iWebTV does not require a user account. In normal app use, we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, billing address, or other direct contact information.
Some app and server information is aggregated or is not linked to your name or email address. Support conversations are stored individually and may contain personal information, including information in your messages or attached browsing URLs. If you provide an email address for follow-up, we associate it with your support request.
We collect limited information to operate, support, secure, and improve the Services.
We do not intentionally collect login credentials for third-party websites. You should not send us passwords, payment information, or credentials for websites you use with iWebTV.
In-app chat starts with an AI assistant powered by Anthropic. Before sharing chat data, the app asks for your permission and links to this Policy. If you choose Not now, chat closes without sending chat data. Permission is saved on your device and applies when you reopen chat or start a new conversation.
We store your messages, the assistant's replies, feedback, and any follow-up request. With the first message in a conversation, the app attaches a snapshot of available troubleshooting information:
This snapshot is captured once per conversation. It excludes private, protected, and incognito history, page titles, device identifiers, and personal device names. Chat does not automatically attach screenshots, diagnostic logs, or files. Our servers may still receive network information such as your IP address, as described above.
We send the conversation messages and a summary of the troubleshooting information to Anthropic's commercial API to generate replies. For website-related troubleshooting, the assistant may also request recent website domains. The automatically attached browsing context sent to Anthropic contains domains only, without full URLs, paths, query parameters, or fragments. Swishly retains the eligible full URLs for support review.
Anything you type or paste into a chat message, including a full URL or personal information, can be sent to Anthropic as part of that message. Do not include passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information. AI replies can be incorrect or out of date.
Authorized Swishly support staff can review conversations and their attached context to troubleshoot problems, handle follow-up, and improve support guidance. If you request email follow-up, we save the address you provide with the conversation and use it to contact you. The follow-up email field is not included in the chatbot's model input.
Support staff may also use Anthropic to help draft a response or prepare reusable support guidance from a conversation, troubleshooting summary, and staff notes. The automatically attached full browsing URLs are excluded from that summary. Information copied into messages or staff notes may still be included. Staff review these proposals before sending email or publishing guidance.
Our support service uses AI to generate responses and help prepare support guidance; it does not train an AI model on your chats. Anthropic states that commercial API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default. Its policy describes exceptions for data explicitly shared for training or submitted to Anthropic as feedback. See Anthropic's commercial data-use policy. Feedback buttons in iWebTV record feedback with Swishly; they do not submit the conversation to Anthropic's feedback program.
iWebTV helps users browse, play, and cast videos from third-party websites selected by the user. Those websites are not operated by Swishly. They may collect information from your browser, device, or network according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Swishly does not control third-party websites and does not decide what information those websites collect.
We use information to:
We do not sell personal information. We may share information in the following limited situations:
When a public authority requests personal information, the company owner handles the request and approves any disclosure. We verify the requester's identity through an independent official contact channel and ask for clarification when the scope or stated legal basis is unclear.
We disclose personal information only when required or permitted by law, and limit disclosure to the records, fields, and time period necessary for the lawful request or permitted purpose. We exclude unrelated personal information where legally permitted and check the information before sending it securely to the verified recipient. We preserve records when legally required.
We keep a private record of each request, our response, the reasons for our decision, the legal basis considered, the people involved, and any information disclosed. Access is limited to those needed to handle the request, and we retain these records only as long as needed to document our response or meet legal obligations.
Because iWebTV does not require user accounts, most app activity, browsing-related events, diagnostics, and server statistics are not tied to a name or email address that lets us identify a specific person. In those cases, we may not be able to locate or delete a particular user's app telemetry because we do not know which records belong to that user.
If you contact us by email, that email and the information you include may identify you. You can request deletion of support communications or other personal information that we can reasonably identify by contacting support@swishly.com. We may need enough information to find the relevant records, and we may retain information where required or allowed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution reasons.
For an in-app support conversation, include enough information to help us locate it, such as the approximate date, the topic, and the follow-up email address if you provided one. We may ask you to verify that the request concerns your information. Closing chat, choosing New chat, or uninstalling the app does not delete the conversation already stored on our servers.
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including app operation, diagnostics, support, security, legal compliance, and business records. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.
Support conversations and attached context are currently removed through manual review or a deletion request. There is no fixed automatic deletion period. Unresolved follow-up requests and records still needed for support work may be retained. Deleting a conversation from the active support database does not immediately erase existing backup copies or separately stored email correspondence. Those records remain subject to the purposes and retention exceptions described in this Policy.
Anthropic has its own retention rules. Its published standard for API inputs and outputs is deletion within 30 days, with exceptions such as legal obligations, usage-policy enforcement, or a different agreement. This is separate from Swishly's storage of the conversation. See Anthropic's commercial retention policy for details.
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at support@swishly.com.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No online service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
Swishly is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
